Erik Pannell, Sr.

Erik is the coordinator for the building and renovation side of Hope & Heart. He is also the Owner and Senior Project Manager for Committed Construction, LLC, which he founded in early 2012. Committed Construction has three lines of business:

• The Commercial line includes, but is not limited to, complete and interior build-outs. It also includes full and partial remodels for four-family units and higher. Erik focuses on staying on budget as well as on time.
• The Residential line focuses on full or partial remodels for single family units, up to three-family dwellings.
• The Service line handles service calls for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing and drywall.

Prior to 2012, Erik, a third-generation carpenter, owned Market Ready Property Services, LLC. Established in 2005, Market Ready Property Services did work for several builders in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas. The services included new home construction, from rough framing to finish carpentry. In 2009, the company began to focus on commercial construction.

Erik earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Real Estate from Franklin University. He maintains a General Contractors License, Home Improvement License, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning License (State of Ohio) and is MBE certified.

Julianne V. Woods

Juli leads all administration for Hope & Heart. Prior to co-founding Hope & Heart, she worked at one of the largest financial institutions in the U.S as Vice President, Corporate Sales Development Consultant in Corporate Banking. Juli is a business development professional and project manager with proven process development and organizational skills. She’s spent 30 years in financial services, working with sales executives and leading project teams to develop and implement markaeting activities in support of the organizations’ revenue generation goals. She supports 16 markets and specializes in turning ideas and concepts into finished “products.” She’s a problem-solver, implementer, connector, organizer and visionary.

Juli nurtured a passion for real estate for many years. She joined the local real estate investment association (COREE) and invested in several workshops and seminars. Her goal is to help revitalize communities. Juli earned a B.A. in Communication from The Ohio State University.

Harold D. Ransom

Harold Ransom is an IT professional, most recently working as Senior IT Systems Engineer & Projects Leader for a prominent IT Managed Services Provider. His primary client is in the construction industry. He specializes in IT Infrastructure development and maintenance. He began his career as a sales engineer at HDR Power Systems, where he worked until his entrepreneurial spirit led him to begin a start-up fitness company with two business partners.

Harold’s experience as a rental property owner helped fuel his passion for real estate. He joined the local real estate investment association (COREE) and invested heavily in his real estate education before co-founding Hope & Heart Property Solutions.

Harold earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology.

Jill D. Clay, M.D.

Jill Clay is an internal medicine doctor and attending physician in primary care in Columbus, Ohio. Jill has practiced medicine for more than 20 years, beginning her career with the underserved in Chicago at Lawndale Christian Health Center. Jill has continued to serve special populations such as veterans and seniors, as well as having a focus on women’s health and engaging in medical missions’ work abroad.

Jill developed an interest in real estate and eventually owned one rental before co-founding Hope & Heart Property Solutions.

Jill earned her B.S. in Zoology from The Ohio State University and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois.
